In business, what do you believe?
"People. Above all else, I believe in people. It’s one of the main reasons I decided to start my own business. When you run your own business you suddenly have this unique opportunity to create your vision and give birth to a workplace culture that you believe in. Corporate America has several pros, but far too many cons in the majority of workspaces.
There has been too much separation between work and personal life in my experience (sounds intrusive, but bear with me). I believe your workplace should feel like an extension of your own family. That may seem like a stretch for some, but not when you consider it’s half of your day, 5 days a week that you spend with co-workers. As a business, I believe we owe it to our employees to create an environment that breeds happiness."
